Very Good

Nice clean and comfortable accommodation. Quiet. Has a nice cafe and a restaurant with more limited hours. Good breakfast buffet. Lots of pillows, thick Nd fluffy. Nice mattress. Hot water in the shower and a sliding door to keep the floor of the toilet area dry. Good aircon.

It would be nice to have a refrigerator.

It was different than my last stay...

I like that the hotel's location. It's in the heart of the city. The staff also provided me a pitcher of cold water when I asked. The hot shower was great!

I did not like that the standard rooms does not have things like other hotels have in their standard rooms like the disposable slippers (only for the higher rooms deluxe etc. as per the staff ). Also there were only one glass inside the stardard room with two single beds and no kettle, dryer, bottled water complimetary coffee and etc. There were also no towels, I needed to call front desk and ask for two towels.

The stay was comfortable and the kids enjoyed it a lot.

This hotel can easily access stores that are vital for the family with kids, such as Pharmacy for the kid's medicines, shops for emergency needs and restaurant for variety of food options.

The parking is so limited. The safety and security of your car depends solely on the public security as the car may be parked on the public street.

Amenities really differ per room. Go for the rooms for 3 person which had much more amenities vs. 2-person rooms, to think they cost nearly the same per person.

Quaint. There were a couple of staff who were very courteous. Except for that guy in suit and orange tie who mans the front desk, and the oldish lady who mans the front desk as well, the rest of the staff were very helpful.

There were a couple of rude and arrogant staff. Comfort rooms could use a little upgrade and cleaning.

Ambience and location.. there is a cafe and restaurant witihn the hotel and close to downtown area

I liked that it was near to a lot of places.

The shower wasn't working properly in room 301. I mentioned it to the front desk but they didnt bother to check. Turn on the shower and there was more water gushing from the bottom faucet than the shower head. I was there for 2 nights so i thought not worth making a fuss.

Very helpful staff on check-in and general dealings. Good location close to city area. Good coffee shop and small restaurant attached. Bed was large and comfortable. Good choice of TV channels

Amazingly elegant for a mid-price hotel. Rooms are comfortable with good facilities; lobby has lots of seating, fine artwork and best wifi. Resto and coffee shop are excellent as is the garden including fishpond. Very well-run and it was a pleasure to stay there.

i liked the location, most things are walking distance from the hotel. i liked the rooms, they seem to have been well kept. the lobby and general feel of the hotel is also very good. the service was also prompt. we requested for missing toiletries, and we immediately got what we requested.

the biggest issue was the shower area. the drain is very slow and water pools when running the shower continuously. the toilet area drain is also an issue but not as much as the shower area. they could also do better with the timing of the breakfast buffet. they mentioned that it starts at 630am, but actually only opened at 640am. my flight was early so i could have used that extra 10 minutes to enjoy breakfast some more.

It was clean

First of all I was informed on arrival the price was different to what was agreed in the first place, after a few minutes the receptionist changed the price but it was still 300 pesos more than the quote. Next the first room had a electric problem, so we had to changed to another room. It was satisfactory. Breakfast, well not really good at all. I will not be staying there again.

What was the highlight of Rosvenil Hotel

I usually stay here at Rosvenil whenever I am in Tacloban. It is centrally located, cozy and has rooms that are bigger than other hotels in the area. Buffet breakfast in their restaurant is also an option. I also like that they have a cafe within the hotel and can get brewed coffee whenever I need one.

I stayed in a room at the 2nd floor and found that the shower drain did not work. I fed this back to the receptionist who sent a staff to fix the drain. It worked for a while but the next morning the shower area got flooded. I just hope they finally fix this. The room was not that clean as well. The pillows did not smell fresh and the floors had dust. Buffet food needs improving too!

What was the highlight of Rosvenil Hotel

Very accommodating. I particularly would like to highlight the hospitality of the staff. We came in very early since we took the first flight and we were given our room key already since the room is already vacant. Stayed for a few days here and will definitely book this place again the next time I visit.
